Alex and family have done a wonderful job of caring for our pup...we have left her at their kennel for overnights and just some wholesome 'doggie socializing'..highly recommend this place!
so we had a last min thing to go to and Alex took our buddy in with no problem we were nervous as the big goof has NEVER been away from us in his life. OMG he had a blast and Alex kept up with our calling every 5 min. had his own room and got to play with some new friends. this is the only place we will take him when we go where he cant go with us thanks Alex .he slept a long time when we got him home
I wanna say THANK YOU toAlex and his wife for taking our Whiskey for a day n a night and taking such great care of him !!He's a big boy a 1yr old 100lb Boerboel n never spent a night away from him. We were anxious, but Whiskey had a blast, he can be intimidating but he liked Alex which says a lot !!!Thank you DOG DAYS san antonio you guys are the best. If your thinking about taking your furbaby to them do it they are amazing.
I LOVE DOG DAYS SAN ANTONIO. It has been an absolute life-saver for the care for our dog. A couple of weeks before finding Dog Days San Antonio, we left our Rocky with someone in their home who Dog sits on a regular. Long story short, it was a horrible and very traumatic experience for both Rocky and us. When we picked him up, he look so undernourished and smelled horrible. His bed was filthy with pee stains and torned up and we could tell that he was in a crate the majority of his stay of 7 days. He was lefted to lay in his pee and poop and we was told that he ran out of food which seemed impossible to us. Our Rocky was fully trained before going there and came home, peeing and pooping in the house and was scared and so withdrawn. We had to retrained him all over again and just continued to pour a lot of love into him. We felt so horrible for leaving him there. So here we are 2 weeks later and we need care again ( he was scheduled to return back there for a couple of days for our son's wedding. But that was definitely a No, No) and found Dog Days on Facebook. This place was definitely Heaven sent. We immediately like what we heard from speaking to Marissa, without us telling her our past experience. People, this is not a place who leaves your pup in a kennel all day. Infact, it's the complete opposite. I love the fact that they put the dogs with age and size appropriate dogs. It's just like he's in school, he's out and about with other dogs having fun. They only crate him when it's time for him to eat (which i feel is good, so you know that some other dog isn't eating his food) and when it's time for bed. ALEX, the owner, was so wonderful and very accommodating, and I loved that he was hands on deck with his staff. Alex himself and some other staff personally sent me daily updates, photos and videos of our pup. When it was time to pick him up, Rocky looked like he wasn't ready to leave. All the staff knew his name and that in itself was awesome. When Rocky came home, he was still trained but he was very tired from playing with the other pups for 2 days. It even seem like he miss his new friends. So, in a nutshell, thanks sooooo much Dog Days San Antonio for all you do and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter or daily dog care. Thanks again for being sooooo awesome!!!
Our little girl shepherd is big for 12 weeks . She is happy coming back home and sleeps better after having the day learning to socialize with the other pets. This has been a really great exercise for her to be. We always feel that they care for the dogs. Most of all for us is, that it doesn't smell like dirty dogs. This means alot to us and shows the true care they provide. How they handle little dogs with big dogs is amazing.
My dogs had a blast. They had so much fun at Dog Days that when they came back home they slept 10 hours straight! Thank you Dog Days for making them be so happy!!!
Two weeks ago I started using Dog Days daycare service for my Shih Tzu Monty, which is my service dog. I started a new job and unfortunately I cannot bring him with me. Dog Days has helped me tremendously with a very difficult transition. They take such good care of Monty and treat him as one of their own. As much as I hate being away from him, at least I know he is in great hands. Plus he has made a lot of new dog friends which I know he needed as well. If you are looking for an amazing, caring and personable company to help with your dog needs, I highly recommend them!
Left our two pups for over ten days, we were constantly updated on how they were doing, sent photos and videos, it was great. When I picked them up they were clean, happy, and running around like they owned the place. We will definitely bring them back when we are out of town again.
We took our 3 pups there for the holiday weekend. Owner was great with all the special requests we made for our dogs. He was very patient, understanding, and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Dog Days.
My dogs hadn’t ever been to daycare, and they love this place! They come home and are out for the count after scarfing down dinner- very happy and relaxed! The owners are kind souls- totally dog people!If you need an affordable place for your dog while you work, bring him here! He won’t be lonely, bored, or sad- he will be hanging around his dog friends and getting positively socialized! Roger and Butterbean agree!
We had to book a quick last-minute booking for our dogs while we attended a funeral in town. All the staff and especially Alex were wonderful. We decided to call and book because thhey had the best price and the best reviews. They made the booking easy and stress-free. My dog, who generally doesn't like new people, walked right up to Alex and wanted pets. They were well taken care of and after talking with Alex on the phone, I had no reservations about leaving my dogs there. We will definitely be using them the next time we come to San Antonio!
Great place to bring your dog I have an emergency. Call this place the owner answer he was very friendly profesional I left my dog here for 5 days. They always keep in contact with while I was away sending me pictures videos came back to pick up the dog you need to see how happy he was this place is very clean and animal friendly you walk in the door you can feel a good vibe and you know you dog is an great hands the owner Alex and his wife both are wonderful they treat you dog like is their own dog against thank you
My mom and I decided to board our two dogs at Dog Days for 3 nights and 4 days while we were out of town and could not be happier that we did! When we would pick up our dogs from our old boarding location they always arrived back to us seemingly dehydrated and super anxious. We were anxious to find a better place for our dogs. When I picked them up today at Dog Days, our dogs seemed extremely happy in the environment and well taken care of. Dog Days was very accommodating with our dogs needs such as daily medication and comfort levels around other dogs. I recommend taking your dog here 100% and this is where our pups will be staying from now on!
Dog Days kept my 12 year old long-haired chihuahua for 10 days while I was on a cruise. Although they are located in an unconventional location, they make up for that by providing a loving atmosphere for your pet. They took great care of him even though his personality makes him avoid strangers. Spanky was able to lay in the sun and enjoy a peaceful environment which is alot like home for him. He took to one of the female workers and followed her around. That told me that he trusted her. I will bring my Spanky back on my next cruise. As a bonus, they had an area set up for photo ops. It was the day before Valentine's Day and a perfect time for a Welcome Home pic.Thank you Alex and Team!
My dog Reign loves going to Dog Days. Since day 1, they have been so friendly and welcoming. My 7 month old plays her little heart out there and she comes home exhausted from a long day of play and social interaction which has helped her puppy energy levels tremendously. We have also seen a decrease in destructive chewing as well. Such a fun environment and I love that she is learning to be dog friendly to all different breeds. They have cameras as well so you are able to pop in and watch your fur baby play. I am so glad I found this place.
Our dogs loved it here. They spent the day there, were boarded overnight and picked up the next day. Owners/staff were communicative and friendly, they definitely cared about and enjoyed having our dogs. I was told our dogs seemed to have endless amount of energy, I think our dogs were just excited to be there because when I got home they were dog-tired and slept for hours which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this facility for daycare and boarding.
